About Julie

Julie is a 400hr Yoga teacher specialising in Restorative Yoga , Hatha, Qi Gong   and Somatics.

She is also a ‘Let Your Yoga Dance  ‘ teacher after training with the amazing Megha Butthenheim in the US.


Julie loves to combine music , dance and yoga in a fun and therapeutic way that promotes brain, body
and soul health.

She is an active member of the local Drama Society in Wexford , acting , writing, &  directing .
She is a tribal twerk instructor and is a trained & gifted group facilitator in providing safe, fun & educational spaces
for communities to connect.
Julie is passionate about movement as medicine and the healing power of Yoga to replenish body, mind and spirit . She advocates intuitive , slow paced  feminine flow in her teachings and  has also completed a 100hr Sensual Goddess Yoga Teacher Training.


Outside of Yoga Julie worked in Social Work, community work &  mental health for 25 years.


She is also qualified in other wellbeing healing modalities including Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki Master
Tutor, Angelic Healing & Crystals , Dance including Bellydance & Mapouka , Rahanni, Brighid Celtic   Druid Rose Priestess Healing , Cacao Ceremony Facilitator, Sound Healing  & Shamanic Drumming circles.

 

She is a Level 6 Trained Group Facilitator, and runs workshops and educational programs based on Mental Health & Holistic Health.

 

Julie has training in Hypnotherapy/ Psychotherapy , Gong Sound Healing and is a student of the IIH (Your Handwriting can change your life) with Vimala Rogers.
 

She co founded FoxandHen Retreats in 2022 and regularly runs wellbeing events collaborating with other facilitators to promote wellness and health in communities.
 


Julie has a passion for life long learning with a particular interest in ‘ Shamanism’ Ancestral Healing, Family Constellations , & promoting a revival of the ancient healing arts.

 

She   is a Qualified Ceremonial Celebrant in Handfasting, Birth & Baby Naming Ceremonies ,Death Rites & life rites passages .
