Tribal Twerk has been stigmatised in the west as a slutty over sexualised dance.
Let’s honour & respect the Sacred origins of this empowering dance which has its roots in African traditions. The Mapouka Tribal Twerk is combined with Middle Eastern BellyDance and the African tribes uses it to heal depression & releases trauma and trapped energies in the body.
It is a powerful lower chakra ( Sacral) somatic medicine , as we release stress and cleanse the chakras ( energy points) in the body .
I have used it for my own personal wellness tool having suffered Endometriosis & Cysts . This dance really gets down into the nervous system and sacral chakra .
